There are so many reasons to love

Omega 3 oil!

(often called fish oil or EPA/DHA).

Omega 3s perform many health-giving services for us. One of my favorites is it’s role in brain health.

Omega 3 protects the brain from causes of cognitive decline.

Cause #1: Inflammation

Inflammation is harmful to the body, including delicate brain tissue. A recent study looked at Omega 3 effect on inflammation in test subjects through C-Reactive Protein (CRP).

 CRP is a commonly used test that measures inflammation in the body. 

The study showed that Omega 3 fish oil reduces CRP levels by as much as 22%!

Cause #2: Loss of brain volume

Another cause of decline in functions such as memory and mood is the shrinkage of the brain that can occur with age.

A recent study confirms that Omega 3 prevents brain shrinkage and protects the physical structure and function of our brains!

In spite of all its health-giving properties, Omega 3 can be a highly contaminated supplement.

Your fish oil could contain bacteria, pesticides, PCBs and heavy metals such as lead, mercury and cadmium.  Don’t waste your money and risk your health with inferior Omega 3s.

How to protect yourself:

  • Buy only Omega 3 oils that are tested by an external source. In other words, not by the company that produced them.
  • Insist on triple GMP tested products. GMP stands for ‘Good Manufacturing Practices’ and is the highest certification a product can receive. ‘Triple’ means tested by three testing facilities.
